Gets the job done. Communicates between my mini SAS raid controller and four Seagate SAS Enterprise drives. All of the storage banks show up in the FreeNAS setup registry. The ability to power off a SATA power connection is allowing me to convert an old Dell PC into a decent NAS. I must note that The plastic is very brittle. I would only recommend this cable for DIY projects rather than commercial use. But overall it seems like a decent value. Crossing fingers as I am waiting on one last part before I can actually start writing data to the system. If all goes well, I should have a 24 TB raid to store my animation project files on.
