Great keyboard, great backlighting, and great switches. But the Esc key gets stuck EVERY single time I press it down, and I have to use the Esc key a lot. I press it, the key activates, and then it'll pop out of being stuck and activate again?? I'm just lucky that I have extra keycaps. This was due to the Esc key being too small and getting stuck on the inside ridges around the keys and can happen to certain keys too close to the edge. If you have to use the Esc Key, STAY AWAY FROM THIS KEYBOARD. But if you have an extra Esc keycap laying around. Then go ahead, this keyboard is amazing.

Feels very, very good, high quality keyboard, this review is for the Cherry MX red switches model, there is one for brown which is quieter and might be a better choice in a crowded environment. Only one color lighting is offered: white. You can define which keys you want lit up, which helps for specific software, including gaming. However, it is not a true gaming laptop. When pressing multiple keys and holding them down it doesn't transmit whatever keys you pressed, only the first one that was actuated, you have to repeatedly press each key in order to get all the keys sent to the computer. I thought the gaming profile it found for the game I was playing (CS:GO) would address this but I can see in actual play that it doesn't. For regular touch typists this is a very good keyboard. It does make noise but not like the original IBM model M, which was a spring-type of keys. And the main gripe about the software. There is no easy way to switch profiles based on what program you are about to use, you have to open the control program and select or adjust the settings, very annoying. I paid 70 with shipping included. Based on the capabilities of other keyboards I can only give it a 4 star rating. -almost gave it a three but it's build quality is undeniable, so staying with a 4 star.Read full review

Cherry MX switches, all the basic layout functionality you need, plus - in my opinion, one of its best features - media controls and a volume wheel in the upper right. Have had it about 1year and i have zero complaints. It was hard to find a keyboard with this quality at the sub $100 price point, and which didn't also have gratuitous 'gamer' elements (rgb etc). The basic backlighting (white) is excellent. I'd prefer if it had a wider range of dim-modes (there are 4, and all are pretty bright) but its a minor gripe.

Great gaming mechanical keyboard. The red switches feel very nice and the keyboard feels really sturdy. The added scroll well is really useful for changing volume when listening to music also. Would 100% recommend!

Great Keyboard if you can score a great deal. Retail they sell for 89.99 USD. I purchased mine for 75.00 USD. Great price for a great product. Simple look but works great on 1 single USB!
