This lens cap i much cheaper than an original Olympus cap I bought it because I want to protect my camera but I don’t want to put a lens cap on and of every time It was easy to fit and it works so far I don’t expect it to be the best quality but no problem so far

I've not used it for very long but it seems to be a good product. Works as expected and better value than the Olympus original. What's not to like?

I needed a better solution to the fiddly little standard lens cap. The auto Z-Cap was the solution. It simply threads on and now I have a lens cap which opens itself when I switch the camera on and the lens extends to the ready position. The Auto cap isn't silent in operation but this may improve with use. As it is it's the perfect compliment to the handy little gem of a lens. It really does make my M5 pocket-able and ready for use without the fiddle

If you have any of the specified lenses (Olympus 14-42mm EZ, Olympus 17mm f2.8 or Panasonic 12-32mm f3.5-5.6) then you will know the lens cap is small and easy to loose. Screw this onto the filter thread and you got a lens cap you can't loose. No apparent vignetting at any focal length. The only drawback (and it is minor) is you can't use a filter with it. Also you can't forget to remove the lens cap as it opens automatically when the lens extends. It seems solid and look good on all three lenses.

This Lens cap is a complete ripp off. Some times it works ok, but usually it refuses to close or open. You have to manually close it by using violent force. Usually all the pictures in 28mm are shoving black corners from the lense cap not fully opening. Stay a way this product!!
