Using your power tool batteries to power a converter (power center) makes perfect sense. 115 volt 15 amp 1800 watt (3600 surge) is really impressive. And it also charges up to 4 batteries.clean reliable energy. Can be used indoors. Way to go Dewalt.

Great tool, if you use your battery powered tools a lot then you need one of these. Yes the price is kind of steep but it will save you more than a few headaches on the job

Getting an easy and reliable way to get 120V power wherever you are was always difficult. Nobody wants to buy a unit that dies when the enclosed battery finally reaches the end of its service life. This Dewalt uses the same batteries of your tools and is easily replaceable everywhere!

I have a picnic shelter 24 x 32 that I wired for lights with screw in ceramic fixtures 8 bulbs total. I wired a 110 receptacle below the switch and had a 2 ended ( male on both ends) made up. I took this power station with 4 charged batteries and plugged it in and VOILA its lit up like a ball stadium. Saved me running 400+ feet of wire or buying solar. And yhis will also work at home during a power outage

I am a professional carpenter with more cordless Dewalt tools then you can count. But I purchased this power station not to power my tools but to power my tv and other electronics when the power goes out. (Which it does quite often) I placed (4) 9.0 ah batteries in this thing and it powered my 80” led tv, 5.1 surround sound, TiVo, and my router through a surge protector (power station has 1 outlet) Ran for about an hr until the power came back on. Batteries still had full charge. Worked awesome. That’s as far as I got with it. I purchased another one for things like the coffee maker and possibly the fridge. (Not simultaneously) I’ll update this review once I experience that. Basically this thing is a 15amp outlet with 1800 watts, same as if you where to plug into your wall. If the price of $194 bare tool from CPO OUtlets comes around again, I will look into purchasing a 3rd. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there showcasing what this thing can do. It comes in extremely handy. Read full review
