I was using Shuguang Black Treasure CV-181-Z and thought I'd try the Psvanes. I prefer the Black Treasures because they have a wider stage and more extended highs. The Treasures fill the room more. The Psvanes aren't a bad tube. They are a great sounding tube with a nice bottom end. If your system sounds bright, these would work better than the Treasures. I'm not getting rid of them. They're a keeper.

This is a good tube, but for a bit more money the CV-181-T is the better step. I have used this while tube rolling 6SN7's and feel it betters the Tung-Sol, the RCA red base and all the other very expensive 6SN7's. It does need about 100 hours to burn in, but it has every aspect covered. Amazing tubes.

. . . and I have tons of them, mostly high quality NOS. Ultra-clear highs, solid base, perfect volt-amp and driver tubes for upper-end tube gear.

After 13-hour burn it, I found "sound quality" does not meet my expectation at the price. 50-Year one is a better choice in terms of quality and sound quality. Production quality is good.
