I must warn people that this pump is a bit loud. I was able to plum the pump from my garage to my fish room which took care of the noise problem. The pump is every bit as powerful as described. I have more than a dozen tanks." several are 55 gal with multiple air supplies" And it handles them all with no problem. I actually had to add a blow off valve to relieve the extra air from the pump.

It pumps about 375 gallons per hour (GPH), not 952. First thing I did was test this air pump by inflating a 50 gallon bag (no restrictions or air stones were used). It took about 8 minutes (should be 3 minutes, 9 seconds). For the price, about $30, I suppose it is fair, and the construction seems ok but heavy vibration causes it to walk all over the place and the cord is only 5 foot long. The rubber feet have holes- allowing it to be screwed in to a base (screws and base not included). The flow is not adjustable. I like that it has an air filter with a nozzle for importing air (like it can draw air from a tube); however, the filter housing (white cover) is not an air tight and the filter inside has a large 1/4" gap (so it's not really going to work). If you want to filter incoming air you should remove/discard the white cover, and run some 5/16" tubing to a filter box (or cut a cigarette filter in half, and stuff the half-filter in the import hole). Obviously, you will burn up the motor if the air filter gets clogged.Read full review

This is a dangerous product. The first time I ran it continuously it overheated and quit. I was only using it on four bubblers, I wouldn't trust it to run as it is intended to--it was too hot to touch! I guess you get what you pay for, but it really shouldn't be a fire risk. It's one thing to sell junk--it's an entirely different matter to sell an unsafe product that can hurt or kill someone.

Good pump produces alot of air but they are a lil loud and they run way hot I use these for hydro in a 4x4x6.5 tent with 2 6 inch exhaust fans pulling air in right next to the pump so they stay super cool but with out it I'm sure they would melt all the cords and lines on them

The pump does an excellent job of suppling plenty of air for 5, 5 gallon bubbler hydro grow pots has been dependable for the last 6months trouble free. The only thing I don't like is that it makes a lot of noise. Looking for an intake muffler should help. Bought an extra for backup if needed.
