works great for my power supply i built. once wired in and powered up i found both amps and voltage had an adjustment pod on meter. was able to fine tune meter to my true rms meter for correct readings. will buy a couple more at this price just to have on hand. shipping was fast as well.

Not quite good enough.
It looks good. The voltage seems to read fairly accurate and stays consistent. The current reading tends to drift a bit and isn't very accurate at low currents (I did not check currents above 1 A). But overall, the worse part for my applications is that is measures current in the low side (breaking the ground connection). Breaking the ground doesn't work for my applications at all since there are other sneak paths which will cause the readings to be far off. So it just sits waiting for a less demanding use someday. Great for my portable battery...
I do Astro-imaging and use a Deep Cycle AGM type battery to power my equipment. I wanted something to indicate the voltage and amperage so I don't damage my battery. I installed this in my battery case and it gives me everything I wanted. I have also recommended it to friends across the nation, and in Great Britain. Also, maintaining my night vision is important. Instructions are in the bag to find a web page with proper wiring depending on the intended use. Easily understood, up and running in no time. I have mine set up for its own power input to the display. It is nice and bright, easy to read numerals. Accurate out of the box but you can adjust the readings with pots on the back side. Works great, no shunt required.
Does just what it says and no external shunt is required like other amp meters. You can get from China for less if you want to wait for 30 to 40 days, got mine in 3 days. No instructions come with it so download them from this site and your all set.
