I had a crimping tool identical to this one except mine did not have the ratcheting capability. Crimping those little connectors while trying to balance them in the jaws of the tool was time consuming and frustrating. The IWISS tool with the ratcheting capability simplifies the crimping process by holding the tiny connector in place while the wire is inserted into the proper position for crimping. It is a lot faster and there are a lot less bungled crimp jobs. I highly recommend this tool.

I could not get it to work with automotive sized terminals. All of the crimp sizes were too small. I believe this might work with smaller computer terminals.

Very nice well built product. Solid, easy to use, don't know why i haven't had a set of these sooner. I'm doing some custom cable sleeving and I get a nice clean tight crimp every time.

Awesome tool. The dies are excellent quality and the crimps are perfect. Now = I just need to find more dies for this tool.

Believe me i've tried many, many crimping tools for Molex connectors, but this tool hast the same specifications as the original "die" (wich dows the actual crimping) as found in professional AMP crimping tools. Many socalled "knock-offs" have a flat crimping part wich presses agains the backside of the pin, it presses them just flat. This one has rounded (half circle) machined steel wich forms perfect around the backside of the pin to crimp. On the other (read: top side) the same applies, the little "tags" are presses into the cable insulation thus forming a 'lock' wich prevents the cable pulling out of the crimped pin. That's why, it's worth the money.
