A little hissey, but overall decent sound quality. Not good enough for the studio but great for live performance. I'm using it in my garage with a PA and my son's band. Great for that too.

The GPM-1 was the prefect solution for my rig. I use a Digitech RP-500 for its amp modeling capabilities. I consider that pedal-board a pre-amp. So, I power my cabinets with a 400w power amp straight from the Digitech with, no other pre-ampin the signal chain . I needed a power booster/pre-amp pedal to get the cleanest and loudest sound output from the cabs. The GPM-1 is the perfect signal booster to complete the setup..

It does not do what I hoped...I have a PA speaker I was hoping to power-up with this -- and it does, but barely (keep in mind this PA speaker is a 75 - 150 watt speaker). I did put this right in front of my Marshall G30R CD combo amp and was pleasantly surprised. My amp is at the end of a 5 pedal board stack and a XENYX 802 mixing board; with this in front of my amp, I get some really nice effects. I have the Amp switch on either Brit or Tweed and the MOD on Clean and the tones are sweet. I have a RP55 modeling processor that can give the same effects but it has to be programmed into a preset. With this box, it's there all the time...think I'll leave it right where it's at. Hey, I might even but one for my other amp.
