I really am impressed with this light. I have a Kessil W160 and I am just so mad now! Between the gooseneck, spectral controller, and the light, I spent over $350 on the Kessil. This 165W light is easily twice as bright and so so much cheaper! Not to mention that it has many LEDs spread out, so you get a more even coverage over your tank. I don't have coral in my tank yet...it's still cycling, three weeks in...but I have great faith that they will love this light, even at it's dimmest setting. I will update in a few months. I'm running it at 25% right now, just to light my tank, but for fun, or to show off, I'll crank both spectrums up to 100% and WOW. I cannot believe how bright this light is. Extremely pleased. Only "negative" I'll say is that the actinic lights are a little more light blue than I'd prefer. That's the only place where I think the Kesisil out performs this light. The Kessil has a much deeper, more clear blue. Much darker. I don't know which is actually the proper wavelength for photosynthetic critters, but I know that I prefer the LOOK of the darker blues. Time will tell what the corals actually like. OVERALL...95/100. Would absolutely recommend over the Kessil (hell, buy two of these and still have some money in your pocket) and will definitely be buying again.Read full review

Let me say that the quality of these lights is excellent to say the least. Very durable construction and quality, the function and feel of all the materials you come in contact with feel well constructed. The light's performance is more than enough for my 20 gallon nano reef, I ran these at 25 percent out of the box, and the illumination was very impressive. This unit is large, not too intrusive that you will have difficulty mounting but is large enough to cover 24" in length with ease. I have my light mounted about 12" from the waterline. The lenses on this unit are also large, the photographs do not do the quality of this item justice. If you are looking for a powerful LED with controllability, and of quality materials. This is the light for you. Out performed my previous T5 setup, no contest.Read full review

I've had these lights for three years. I run them on my 120 gallon reef tank and have amazing growth. I also sell SPS and LPS Coral and people are always amazed at how well the lights work and end up buying them for their own tanks. I've done a side-by-side comparison with a Kessil A360W-E light and no difference in growth at all. The Kessil light does have awesome shimmer affect though. So you can either spend $400 or $86 your choice.

I like it, I have 5 of them total. Works pretty well. I do NOT like the "lenses" over the LEDs though, it just doesn't spread out like I want it too on a reef tank. I have some other ones that spread the light better. The mounting kit is not adjustable, very hard to get it level.
