They describe this product as superior technology, but all I want to do is return it. I live in the high desert of CA, so there isn't usually a humidity problem and I expected this would be a perfect way to cool down one room rather than using our ducted evaporative system. I followed the directions exactly, not that there was much to do except add water and be sure the pressurized cap was secure. Initially the Duet seemed to work okay, although the fans, even on high, put out a very weak wind. The moistened air for the first few minutes seemed to work, but then ( and by the way, I used DISTILLED water, which is not a requirement, but I wanted to avoid any particulates in the system) the little misters seemed to clog anyway and within 45 minutes I had a flood on the floor, and both ports were dribbling water instead of adding it to the air. I tried cleaning it, and it worked again, for about 20 minutes, then it began dribbling water, and it adds so much "mist" to the area nearby that all the furniture was getting SOAKED and now have permanent stains. Trying to figure out how to return it, because it just isn't worth what they are charging. I could get the same effect with a fan and a couple of misters for a tenth of the price....and less mess, more fan too.Read full review

This product is great for outdoors not so much indoors For the first four days it worked perfectly indoors and then it started spitting water all over the floor I have tile floor so I'm able to put a towel down I live in Las Vegas and the summer Heat can be unbearable with this product I can save a little money and it keeps my room nice and cool

Product does what they say. If you keep the foam air filter cleaned and use sediment free water this unit should be good for many years. If you have the DC power cord it is great portable unit. With the 570 CFM this unit is able to cool a standard size room in no time. Manufacturer offers a 1 year warranty.
