Unit was shipped Up-Side-Down. I set it Right-Side-Up and let it set unplugged for 6 hours, Enough Time for the Freon to settle back down into the compressor. Do this , otherwise the compressor can be damaged I installed the water supply, plugged the unit into power, pushed the On button and had ice in a short time. The price was well under other like units. I am well Pleased
