Very nice for the price, sturdy, works well. Two things i did was i removed the lock washers from the ram plate bolts and used blue locktite, now i can leave the ram plates just loose enough so it slides side to side like it's meant to. i will get some nylock nuts for it soon. And the top ram plate was warped due to the bar stock being welded to the underside, it keeps it in position between the top support, it warped so the top plate corners hit first making it hard to slide. I used the press to give a slight bend so the corners were up, now the ram carriage slides nice. I put a little pressure on the ram before tightening everything down like Dake video says so it's square. I think press will last a long time.

Buyers be warned; the hardware included with press is VERY cheap and snapped in half while assembling press with hand tools. Spent 30 bucks and over an hour of time running to the hardware store to upgrade every bolt and washer to grade 8, where it should have been all along. Makes me wonder how well the hydraulics are built on this thing, but guess time will tell. Was expecting far more for the money but hey its still better than harbor freight at least. Why the DAKE decal isn't affixed from the factory and is just floating around in the package without a protective backing on it I also don't understand. Good thing mine was just lightly stuck to some cardboard and it still had enough sticky stuff on it to make it stick to the metal beam on the press..

Have not used it much yet but it was a joy getting one of these. Even though it is imported I like the fact that DAKE stands behind it. (At least they say that do. Have not talked to them.) The instructions on assembly were a little vague but anyone with half a brain should not have any problems. So far it fits my needs. I am bending 10 gauge SS with a press brake die and punch. This task was really tasking my vise and I was afraid I was going to break it. With this press it is easy. Only thing bad is I don't have a good place to mount it. It is in my bedroom right now.

I need a Hydraulic Press that was portable to take to a Jobsite. The Hydraulic Pump Assembly is separate from the main unit, and connects with a Hydraulic Quick Coupler. The Main Cylinder can be positioned anyplace along the upper beam. The press comes with plates and a couple ram adapters for different applications. I had one small issue with my pressure gauge not reading zero from the box. After contacting the vendor and manufacturer, a representative from DAKE contacted me and sent the replacement parts within a day. I know this is not the most expensive equipment that DAKE produces, but their customer support made me feel like they appreciated my business. I have two other larger DAKE presses and will be purchasing DAKE products in the future. Thanks for a great product Doug

For the money this tool rocks. I've been using it for more than its intended purpose of setting new bearings. For instance re - bending bent brackets for machinery or getting stuck rods out of sealed parts. Its well built and painted very nicely. It was easy to assemble with a bit of common sense as its obvious that English was NOT the instruction manuals writers first language, or even second. The only negative I could find is that if you put a lot of pressure there is some flex to the adjustable (blue) base and the rods that hold it. To conclude, after years of pounding on parts, this tool does the trick for me.
