I love this phone. Its the old style razor but sassy. Its got a clean and slim look to it. Works great no problems and very easy for those who like the number style texting. I had the qwerty keyboard, touch screen and switched back to this model. The Verizon store doesn't carry these simple model flip phones anymore and wanted to charge me over $200 to change back to this style. So I looked on Ebay found just what I wanted for half the price. I took it in and they switched it over for free. My only complaint is the shorter battery life. I have to charge it everyday sometimes twice a day if I am on it a lot. But I will take that negative with all the positives. Love the razor2! I hope they continue to make this phone because I love it!!
Good resolution and color contrast. Feels very thin in my hand and the reception quality is very good. The biggest drawback is the battery life, don't know if it's phone specific but it drains really fast. I just ordered a new battery so we'll see.

I bought my RAZR 8 years ago. It was the best at that time and even now. This flip phone does everything I need for it to do. It's simple, the volume is wonderful, I can use my earpiece and work at the same time when I have my hands in paint or other busy work-- especially when driving. It is easy to pocket and keep encased. Of course, these aren't manufactured any more, so I not only bought another one, but I found someone to repair mine. Now I have two, plan to keep, and I should get through many more years of usage as the more modern phones are not necessary for me as I use my computer.

I am totally sold on this phone. I dropped my old Motorazr2 and the display no longer was visible. Went to verizon and upgraded to the simplicity phone. Could not stand phone because the buttons were outside the phone / exposed. When I would have the phone in my purse, the buttons on the phone would hit the sides of the purse and then the battery would drain. When I needed to use the phone, I would pull out a dead phone. I purchased a replacement from ebay, paid way to much money for a replacement Motorazr2 BUT it was well worth getting my old phone model back since I truly love the thin line. Loud speakers so I can always here the ring, easy to use, all the functions I need for video, picture snapshots. Texting is easy as well.
I had a Motorola V3 when I switched to the new RAZR that required a data plan and I never used the data plan so I was paying $30 a month for nothing. It was to big and bulky and after just a few weeks I wish I had kept the V3. It came to time to upgrade at Verizon and I saw some V9s on Ebay so I bought one and now I am back to where I was two years ago. Love the size and how easy it is to answer. I use a Phone as a phone. A text might come in once in a while but I talk most of the time. The standard battery is a little weak and I will get the extended life battery but I will use this till it starts to run down really fast. This phone is better than any smart phone. Great reception, easy controls, I have a holster for it and it is so much easier to carry. It connects to my Bluetooth in my van so that is really good. If you are looking for a phone to use as a phone and some texting this is the best one out there. It was an overstock and was brand new. In fact I have purchased a 2nd one for when this one dies since they all die. I did get a 2 year warranty from square trade so unless I break it I have two years on it. It is true that Verizon has some basic phones they still sell but the reviews I have read on then say they are poorly built, bad reception, poor screens, etc. My own opinion is they sell them just to say they have them. Get this phone instead. You can not go wrong.Read full review
